End the Death Tax for good!

Two months ago the House of Representatives passed legislation, with an overwhelming bipartisan vote of 272-162, to permanently repeal the onerous Death Tax. More than 40 Democrats joined with Republicans to end this immoral tax for good. Now, Senate Majority Leader Frist is preparing to bring the measure up for a vote in a few days!

Small businesses and family farms far to often must sell their properties upon inheritance because the tax bill is so large. As a result, workers are losing their jobs because of the destructive tax. And when that happens, our local economy suffers.

Repeal of the death tax will result in an additional 175,000 jobs a year being created and will work to keep local jobs from being destroyed. A vote to repeal this dreaded tax is a tax for good jobs and a good economy and I urge you to vote yes when the vote comes up.
