Special Projects

American Federation of Senior Citizens continues to get requests from our supporters to cover a wide variety of issues and topics. Therefore, we have Special Projects to examine the ever changing legislative and political landscape. In addition, it is important to remember that seniors ( 55 years and older) today, continue to be active and very much involved in their personal as well as community life. The following are our current Special Projects:

  • National Committee

Dedicated to keeping you informed on the media blackout of the conservative agenda and covering all issues
  • National Senior Action Council (NSAC)

NSAC deals with Medicare and health care issues. NSAC proudly supports reforms that will ensure Medicare's solvency for a long time. America's seniors deserve choice, privacy, freedom, quality and stability from their health care system. We oppose Hillary Clinton's and Ted Kennedy's plan to extend Medicare coverage to every man, woman and child in America from cradle to grave. This will place undue burdens on a Medicare system that is already overtaxed and will likely cause its demise and deprive seniors of the quality health care on which they rely. Medicare needs continued major reform if it is to continue providing seniors with quality health care they deserve. We oppose government-run health care, which is generally characterized by substandard service, long waiting lists, lack of privacy, is mired in red tape and bureaucracy.
  • Political Headquarters

Providing on-going comparative information on the conservative and liberal agendas for America.
